Concerteenies (Early Years, ages 0-5)

Concerteenies is a live music concert series designed to engage you and your young children in live, high quality music in a relaxed and friendly environment. Enjoy an eclectic mix of classical, contemporary, pop, folk and jazz with informal introductions to the music and sensory activities to enhance your baby’s experience (bubbles, puppets, percussion and lots more).

Concerteenies are hosting weekly Live Online concerts by various musicians, with fun audience participation including simple props from your home, to enhance children’s learning.

Small Voices Big Noises (Early Years, ages 0-5)

Fun and informal drop-in music sessions for children aged 0-4 with an adult provided by experienced early years music educator Martin Harwood.

In replacement of Martin’s regular sessions, he is providing Facebook live singalong and dance-along sessions at 10am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Little and Loud (Early Years, ages 0-5)

Music and movement classes for babies and toddlers to discover live instruments, singing games, action songs and rhyme in fun and thoughtful sessions. Little and Loud classes combine familiar songs and rhymes with new songs, percussion instruments, puppets and props, opportunities to dance and move and always end with a relaxing lullaby or two.

Little & Loud have started online classes via Zoom every Tuesday and Friday morning at 10am and can be booked via their website.

Music and Technology company that has gathered a group of music freelancers to provide free educational activities every weekday so that young people can continue their academic development at home. Tailored to Computing & Music for years 1-6.

Manchester Jewish Museum – Virtual picnic 

Getting out and about with family, friends, clubs and societies was a favourite past-time of Manchester’s Jewish communities. Photographs and oral history recordings in our collection show and describe picnics from the simple to the very elaborate. MJM created a virtual picnic blog to keep the community connected during lockdown.
